ON THE DAY
The Registration Point will be set up on the Boardwalk near the Indian Ocean Brewing Co. carpark, where we’ll give you buckets, tongs and gloves – and we’ll show you where to go from there. We have split The Marina, Mindarie into clean up zones, ranging from family friendly to advanced.

Shorewater Marine will be bringing along a Barge and volunteer divers to collect rubbish from below the Marina waters with Volunteers on SUP, kayaks and boats to collect from above.

FREE BEER/WINE/SPIDER
All participants on the day will receive a voucher upon your return to the Registration Point for a FREE house wine or pint of beer or cider. For all the kids who join in, they’ll receive a free ice-cream spider with a One Straw to take home from either The Boat or the Indian Ocean Brewing Co.

THE CHANCE TO WIN FREE BOAT RIDES & PRIZES
Families will also have the chance to take an educational ride around The Marina on our electric clean up boat made from recycled plastic – Exstrawdinary One, with our skipper Mark, from CleanaMarina Pty Ltd. After the clean-up, we’ll be drawing the winners of our raffle prizes!

FREE EDUCATION STALLS
We’ll have a number of different Pop Up stalls volunteering their time to talk to people and answer any questions about the Marine Environment, Sea Animals, Sustainability and Recycling.

WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING?
We recommend comfortable shoes, hats, sunscreen and a drink bottle (no single use plastics please). If you have your own buckets, gloves or other helpful resources, please bring them along. However, we will supply clean up equipment for the whole family!
