The Deenys
The Deenys are an indie rock outfit hailing from Perth’s northern suburbs. With each member of the band originating from the UK & Ireland, they bring a noughties UK indie feel with a mix of Aussie influences.
The Deenys have stamped their own brand of indie rock on the Perth music scene with punchy guitars, wistful lyricism and catchy melodies.
They’ve supported the likes of Ride, The Charlatans, Inspiral Carpets and From The Jam, as well as joining Old Mervs and DICE on their regional tours.
Apricot Tea
From ethereal dreamy vocals to fuzzy guitar solos and intricate bass lines, Apricot Tea merges angelic dream pop with indie rock.
Drawing inspiration from artists like Jeff Buckley, Big Thief and Julia Jacklin in their approach to songwriting, the band crafts gut-wrenching personal narratives that delve into navigating the relationships and changes you experience during young adulthood.
The four-piece Boorloo band are releasing their debut single early next year.
My Friend Jimi
My Friend Jimi is a solo act hailing from one of Perth’s northern-most suburbs, Mindarie. The act consists of Indie artist Jamie Colbourne who’s music is reminiscent of laid-back Indie rockers such as Mac DeMarco and Lime Cordiale. Come along to watch him play some of his original music.
